What’s new? Sage CRM 2018 R2 Release Communications [en]

We are pleased to announce the availability of Sage CRM 2018 R2 (which combined the releases from R1). This release includes a set of features designed to help your organisation with the management of personal data stored in Sage CRM as well as updates to features including Calendar and Quick Find to ensure even greater usability.

What’s new?

  • Access your information quicker – Quick Find results now include data contained in multi-line text fields. Results have been enhanced to provide better relevancy scoring in results.
  • Manage consent for marketing campaigns easier – added consent tracking capability to allow users to issue consent requests to contacts and to store their responses against their contact record. This can be recorded for multiple types of campaigns. 
  • Additional Platform Support – this release now adds support for the Microsoft SQL Server 2017 database. 
  • Calendar – Multiple functional enhancements, including improving drag-and-drop functionality and task creation.
  • Enhancements to the user interface – Further improvements MailChimp integration, Metadata Performance, Main Menu, Customer Cases and optimised text for narrow screens.
  • Customer Cases program fixes – More than 50 customer cases have been addressed, prioritizing the diary feature, customization and the interactive dashboard.

You can use the Sage CRM 2018 R2 installation package to upgrade from versions 2017 R3, 2017 R2, 2017 R1, 7.3 SP3, 7.3 SP2, 7.3 SP1, and 7.3. To upgrade from an earlier version of Sage CRM, please first upgrade to one of the versions listed here.

In accordance with our support policy, Sage is now supporting Sage CRM 2017 R1, R2, R3 and Sage CRM 7.3.
